Today EnergyClub, Additional Liability Company Pervomaiskdieselmash and City Council of the Borislav city, Lviv oblast, signed triple Memorandum at Antika Law Firm office. It aims to improve the regional energy system by using associated gas for the simultaneous production of electricity and heat.
The subject of the signed Memorandum is the introduction of high-efficiency equipment – cogeneration units (CU) based on gas engines-generators produced by ALC “Pervomaiskdieselmash”, which will operate on associated, vacuum oil gasified gas in Boryslav, Lviv region.
The project will solve two regional problems. One of them is economic, which consists in obtaining a literal energy independence and high economic indicators by the utility company: low cost of electricity and heat, which can help reduce heating tariffs; obtaining additional income from the sale of excess electricity and increase jobs.
The environmental goal of the project is to use associated gas as fuel, which is currently utilized and pollutes the environment of the Boryslav region.
The memorandum was signed by Boryslav Mayor of Lviv Region Ihor Yavorsky, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pervoimaiskdieselmash Mykhailo Yudin and EnergyClub President Andriy Kostrytsia.
