Managing Partner of Antika Law Firm, member of the Judicial Reform Council Alexey Kot will act as a moderator of the roundtable discussion on controversial issues of civil and commercial procedures
On April 8, 2016 in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv a roundtable discussion will take place within the framework of a series of expert events on controversial issues of civil and commercial procedures.
Discussions will be held in the context of drafts of the Economic Procedure Code in the new edition, prepared by the Working Group on the reform of procedural law of the Judicial Reform Council, and amendments to the Civil Procedure Code.
The participants will discuss the following questions:
- Means of proof in the commercial and civil procedures.
- Procedural filters. Decisions that are not to be appealed in cassation.
The moderators of the round table will be Alexey Kot and the judge, the secretary of the Plenum of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine Larisa Rogach.
The round table is organized by the Judicial Reform Council, the Committee on procedural law of the Ukrainian Bar Association and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
