Managing partner of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot told the Economic Court Judges about new ways to protect the rights under economic procedures

Managing partner of Antika Law Firm, Member of the Judicial Reform Council, Member of the Scientific and Advisory Council of the Supreme Court, Doctor of Law Alexey Kot featured on All-Ukrainian workshop for Economic Court Judges. He delivered a speech to participants about the ways to protect subjective civil rights and analyzed innovations in procedural law.

All-Ukrainian workshop was organized by National School of Judges of Ukraine. The event was entitled “Innovations of commercial litigation of Ukraine and their application in juridical practice”.

Alexey Kot has analyzed a number of innovations on procedural law and provided an assessment of new ways to protect violated rights, stipulated in the version of the Code of Commercial Procedure of Ukraine which was entered into force on December 15, 2017.

‘New procedural law provides an opportunity for parties significantly increase the ways to protect violated rights. It is essential that such an opportunity is actively used by stakeholders and is accepted at both the Supreme Court  and appellate courts levels. Relevant juridical decisions and orders taken on the basis of new Code of Commercial Procedure of Ukraine attested to this’ highlighted managing partner of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot.
