Advising Nadra Ukrayny in transaction on purchase  of LLC Westgasinvest by Eni S.p.A

On October 3, 2012 Nadra Ukrayny NJSC and Cadogan Petroleum Plc successfully completed Share Purchase Agreement with the Italian Company Eni S.p.A. whereby Eni has acquires 50.01% of LLC Westgasinvest for the further exploration and development of unconventional gas in Ukraine. LLC Westgasinvest currently holds subsoil rights to nine unconventional (shale) gas license areas in the Lviv Basin of Ukraine being a continuation of the Lublin Basin in Poland.
