Managing partner of Antika Law Firm, Member of the Judicial Reform Council Alexey Kot took part in VII International Civil Forum “The principles and the tendencies of EU and post-soviet countries private law application”

On May 11-12, 2017 Kyiv hosted VII International Civil Forum “The principles and the tendencies of EU and post-soviet countries private law application”. The event was organized by the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, the Association of Civilians of Ukraine.

During the first day of the event the participants discussed issues related to the conducting of judicial reform in Ukraine and implementation of eastern tradition of judicial law in post-soviet countries, in particular EU core private law principles. The second day of the event was devoted to legal education and methods to prepare lawyers in EU and post-soviet counties.
