Managing partner of Antika Law Firm, member of the Judicial Reform Council Alexey Kot participated in the expert discussion of the draft law “On the High Council of Justice”

On September 7, 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel the expert discussion of the draft law “On the High Council of Justice” was held. It was organized by the Judicial Reform Council in cooperation with the Council of Europe Project “Support to the implementation of the judicial reform in Ukraine.”

During the event, the participants discussed the provisions of the draft law “On the High Council of Justice”, the Council of Europe experts assessed the draft law, there were presented the standards and recommendations of the Council of Europe on the composition and powers of the judicial disciplinary bodies, the possible ways to improve the draft law in order to ensure compliance with the Council of Europe standards.
