The member of the Scientific and Advisory Council of the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine, the managing partner of ANTIKA law firm Alexey Kot took part in a scientific and practice conference “Formation of the commercial jurisdiction in Ukraine – 20 years of experience. Problems and Prospects”, held in the Odessa Commercial Court of Appeal on May 25, 2011 and was coincided with 20-years anniversary of the commercial courts’ system.

The Chairman of the Higher Commercial Court of Ukraine Viktor Tatkov, the Chairman of the Supreme Arbitration Court or the Russian Federation Anton Ivanov, the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Ukraine on a specialized review of civil and criminal cases Leonid Fesenko, the Chairman of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine Alexander Pasenyuk, judges of commercial courts, representatives of government, leading Ukrainian scientists participated in the conference.

Conference participants discussed the problems and prospects of reforming the judicial system of Ukraine, the most pressing issues of application the Law of Ukraine On the Judicial System and Status of Judges, certain aspects of the commercial procedure.
