On February 26, 2013 the constitutive meeting was held in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. During the meeting Alexey Kot was re-elected to the Public Council of the AMCU.

Representatives from the civil society and from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine took part in this meeting.

The purpose of the Public Council is to provide public control over the AMCU activities, to facilitate in accounting of public opinion by the committee in the process of state competition policy formation, to coordinate public consultation held by the AMCU.
