On 23-25 April 2013 in Kiev, with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine a jubilee International Ecological Forum “Environment for Ukraine” took place. The main aim of the forum was to integrate the “green economy” concept, in particular eco-friendly energy-efficient technologies, a balanced system of natural resources management and ecosystems preservation to guarantee safety for the health and life of population.

One of the main events of the Forum-2013 was the VI International Exhibition “Environment 2013”, which demonstrated to the participants the environment protection programs implemented by large industrial enterprises, as well as innovations in the field of alternative energy. Representatives from the foreign countries shared their experience in this field.

The 5th All-European Conference of Environmental Ministers “Environment for Europe” was also held within the framework of the Forum. During the conference the participants discussed the results of environmental protection in Ukraine and compliance with international agreements and conventions related to the environment in Ukraine.
