On June 18, 2014 the regular meeting of the Legal Committee of the Public Council of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine took place. During the meeting the issues related to participation of the Public Council in assigning tasks of the AMCU and reforming legislation on economic competition protection were discussed. The participants also considered questions on public expertise and public anticorruption expertise of drafts legislative acts developed by the AMCU, in particular “On Draft Law of Ukraine “On state aid to economic entities”, issues related to improving the procedure of obtaining permit on economic concentration and legislation in the field of public procurements.

A special attention during the meeting was devoted to discussion of amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine № 996 as of November 3, 2010 “On provision of participation of the community in establishing and realization of the state policy” and Resolution № 658 as of June 20, 2012 “On establishing council of chairmen of the public councils of the executive power bodies”.
