Antika successfully defended the interests of Shell Retail Ukraine in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine
Antika Law Firm successfully defended Shell Retail Ukraine (operator and owner of a network of the petrol station under the brand Shell in Ukraine) interests’ during the investigation launched by Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine against the company.
Investigation was carried out by Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine due to acquisition of assets of petrol station in Kharkiv without relevant permit for concentration in December 2014.
During the investigation team of lawyers of Antika Law Firm managed to convinced Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine that the transaction, which was held by Shell Retail Ukraine, doesn’t meet the criteria of concentration according to Law of Ukraine “On the protection of Economic Competition” and therefore, doesn’t require permit for concentration. As a result, Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine ordered to closed proceedings of the case without decision-making.
