The regular meeting of the Public Council of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine under supervision of Alexander Zavada, its Chairman, and participation of Raphael Kuzmin, the first deputy Chairman of the Committee, was held on April 24, 2012.

The Public Council accepted the draft State Program for Competition Development in 2013-2023 and the Plan on its fulfillment for consideration. Central and local public authorities, the National Bank of Ukraine, the NAS institutions were engaged by the Committee in discussion of these documents as well. Also, during the meeting the Public Council considered the Committee’s Report for 2011, having expressed support for the agency.

In addition, in the near future the Council will accomplish processing and will submit to the Committee additional proposals to the draft laws on amending the Law of Ukraine “On Advertising”. Preliminary comments to the draft laws were discussed during joint meeting of the Legal Committee and the Committee of the Public Council on Unfair Competition on April 24, 2012.
