On March 12, 2013 the extended meeting of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine took place.

During the meeting the Report on Committee’s activities 2012 was reviewed and adopted as well as the priorities for Committee’s activities 2013 were defined. The major tasks were determined, namely, to take complex measures in order to prevent, to detect and to restraint violations of legislation on protection of economic competition at socially important markets, to monitor services market in the field of leasing agricultural land of all types of ownership, to draft the Law of Ukraine “On the National Program of development of competition in Ukraine for the years 2014 – 2024” and to cooperate with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) with the aim for Ukraine to become an associate member of the OECD in the Competition Committee.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of the Administration of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the central authorities, the Accounting Chamber, non-governmental organization and scientists.
