On March 17-18, 2016 there was held the IV International Judicial and Legal Forum, organized by the Supreme Court of Ukraine jointly with the publishing house “Yuridicheskaya Praktika” with support of the EU project “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” and the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The forum was attended by the Head of the Supreme Court of Ukraine Yaroslav Romaniuk, President of the Supreme Court of Lithuania Rymvidas Norkus, EU Project Manager “Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine” Virgilijus Valančius, Head of Presidential Administration of Ukraine Oleksiy Filatov, Head of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine Sergey Koziakov, scientists, judges, partners of law firms.

The participants discussed the constitutional and procedural stages of the judicial reform, as well as issues of development of the judicial practice in the following areas: tax and intellectual property related disputes, bankruptcy, disputes arising from creditor-debtor relationship, criminal liability.
