Alexander Tretiakov, the lawyer of Antika Law Firm, participated in the round-table on “Prevention of infringements of legislation on protection of economic competition in the markets of medicines in Ukraine”. The round-table was held on October 27, 2011 in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

During the round-table the problematic aspects of the pharmaceutical market in Ukraine, priorities and tasks of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on the market, the need to develop mechanisms for cooperation between government and business in order to prevent unreasonable price increases for drugs, quality control issues were discussed.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner Rafael Kuzmin, The First Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner, Yuriy Kravchenko, the Heads of the departments of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Tax Administration of Ukraine, the representatives of domestic manufacturers of medicines, and the representatives of business entities that have a license for the wholesale of medicines, the representatives of pharmacy chain participated in the discussion.
