On 15 November 2011 the European Business Association Competition held a meeting on “Application of antimonopoly legislation in distribution” featuring representatives of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine.

The main topic of the meeting was application of the antimonopoly legislation in course of distribution. In course of the discussion, such issues as stipulation of prices for repurchase of goods, granting discounts in course of distribution, exclusivity of distribution right were discussed. According to representatives of the AMCU, the later pays particular attention whether the antimonopoly rules are met during distribution in such spheres as dairy products and milk, oil products, meat, medicines, etc.

First Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine – state commissioner Rafael Kuzmin, Deputy Head of the Committee – state commissioner Mykhailo Rusynskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Committee – state commissioner Larysa Kolesnyk, state commissioners Sergiy Stefanovskyi and Sergiy Netudyhata, Director of Investigation Department Mykola Barash, as well as more than 40 representatives companies – members of the European Business Association participated in the meeting.
