Alexey Kot, managing partner of Antika Law Firm, participated in the Ukrainian Energy Forum
The third annual conference of the Adam Smith Institute “Ukrainian Energy Forum” was held on 27th of February – 1-st of March 2012.
The Forum is the leading international meeting place of all interested players in the sector – key government decision-makers and regulators, top executives of leading energy companies in Ukraine, including Exxon Mobil, Shell, TNK-BP, Gazprom, UkrNafta, Naftogas, Regal Petroleum and others being among them, current and potential international strategic investors and respected energetics analysts and experts from Ukraine, Russia, Europe and Northern America.
During 12 work sessions the members of the Forum discussed the most important issues regarding energy strategy and energy security of Ukraine, transportation, prospecting and extraction of oil and gas. Special attention was paid to the issues of unconventional gas and renewable energy, trade and electricity export.
