The Ist Ukrainian School of Law on mergers and acquisitions was held in Kiev on April 28-29, 2012. This event was organized by the Student League of the Ukrainian Bar Association for students of 3-6 year courses of the leading universities in Ukraine.

The purpose of this event was to explain to the students “merger” and “acquisition” concepts, consideration of separate aspects of M&A transactions, familiarization with the basic problems and difficulties which may arise during fulfillment of M&A transactions.

Alexander Tretiakov gave a lecture on “Conducting legal due diligence – one of the most important stages of M&A transactions”.
