On September 20, 2012 the joint meeting of the Kyiv Branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association and the Section of advocates and practicing lawyers was held.

The key topic of the meeting was the question “Who will be protected by the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine?”. Practicing lawyers and advocates discussed the narrowing of the concept of breach of the right to protection, preventive measures in the new CPC, as well as advocate’s rights in the framework of the new Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
