Managing partner of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot took part in the IBA International Law Firm Management Conference
On November 29-30, 2012 in Moscow, the VI IBA International Law Firm Management Conference took place. It brought together the leaders of the professional legal community and experts in the field of law firm management from around the world.
This year the Conference was devoted to the key topics: “What should be the regulation of the legal profession in the CIS countries?” and “What and who should be the new leaders of the law firms?”, within the frameworks of which four thematic sessions for managing partners of the law firms and four parallel session for field-oriented managers were arranged.
The participants of the Conference discussed the nuances of multi-office law firm management, alliances and other models of professional cooperation of law firms, the development strategies of local law firms, as well as issues related to the multi-disciplinary practice of the firms, peculiarities of exclusive innovative practices introduction and ways to achieve leadership in specialization.
