Partners of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot and Alexander Burtovoy, and a senior associate of the firm Alexander Tretiakov took part in the conference “Ukraine: shaping competition policy. Comparative discussion of best international practices”

On January 29, 2013 in Kiev the conference “Ukraine: shaping competition policy. Comparative discussion of best international practices” took place. It was attended by politicians, members of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and foreign competition authorities.

The conference was an unprecedented event that brought together specialists in the field of international competition law, including representatives of organizations such as the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Swiss Competition Commission, the Japan Fair Trade Commission, the Federal Trade Commission (USA), the Directorate-General for Competition (the European Commission).

First Deputy Chairman of the AMCU Rafael Kuzmin opened the conference with a presentation of the National Program for development of competition in Ukraine (2014 – 2024) followed by a presentation on improving state’s environment for regulation policies and business environment for investments and productivity with further discussions and comments of conference’s participants.

At the end of the event there was a press conference of key panelists.
