Managing Partner of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot took part in Ukrainian Energy Forum
On February 25 – 28, 2013 the Adam Smith Conference’s 4th annual international Ukrainian Energy Forum was held in Kiev.
The highlights for debate included discussion of the key priorities of the Ukraine’s national Energy Strategy, problems of Ukraine’s energy sector development, the most pressing issues of domestic production of oil and gas, both onshore and offshore, including unconventional gas exploration, peculiarities of legal regulation of the sector, progressing of PSA and tender procedures.
The Forum was attended by representatives of the key government institutions of industry, in particular the Minister of Energy & Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavitskiy, the Minister of Ecology & Natural Resources of Ukraine Oleg Proskuryakov, heads of the state energy companies, including Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC, Ukrgazvidobuvannya PJSC, senior management of over 20 energy companies active in Ukraine, including ExxonMobil, Shell, TNK Ukraine, DTEK, Cadogan Petroleum, Shelton Petroleum, Vanco Prykerchenska and the leading international and domestic energy experts and commentators.
