Senior associate of Antika Law Firm Ivan Zievakov attended events devoted to the 4th European-Ukrainian Energy Day

On May 31, 2013 in Kiev the 4th European-Ukrainian Energy Day took place. The organizers, the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency and Conference House, invited Ukrainian and international experts on energy efficiency and alternative sources of energy to take part in panel discussions the key topic of which was “Ukraine’s Energy Market: Steps Forward or Lost Opportunity?”

Within the framework of this topic the participants discussed issues related to energy policy formation in Ukraine, in particular, the implementation of necessary projects in order to improve solar and wind energy sector, as well as the concept of “green city” as the power of regions. Also, issues related to the international actions for Ukraine’s energy development, such as donor support and IFI, implementation and financing of energy efficiency projects in the private and construction sectors, as well as the current status and upcoming developments of Ukraine and EU energy cooperation were in focus.
