On November 28, 2013 a meeting of the first and the second sections of the chambers of the Scientific and Advisory Council of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine took place. The leading scholars and practitioners in the field of corporate law, as well as judges of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine who consider disputes related to corporate relations took part in the meeting.

During the meeting the participants discussed topical issues that arise from resolving by economic courts disputes related to corporate governance and exercise of corporate rights. Also, the Deputy Head of the Higher Economic Court of Ukraine drew attendants’ attention to gaps in legislation on jurisdiction of cases related to corporate disputes.
