Managing partner of Antika Law Firm, PhD (Law) Alexey Kot took part in the round-table meeting “The measures of court’s interference in the international commercial arbitration”

On September 4, 2014 the International Commercial Arbitration Court and the Maritime Arbitration Commission at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Institute of Private Law and Entrepreneurship of the Ukrainian National Academy of Law Sciences, the Association of Civil lawyers of Ukraine invited scientists, representatives of court system of Ukraine, lawyers that practice in the field of international commercial arbitration to take part in the academic and research round-table meeting devoted to discussion of established tendencies in the general and economic courts on international arbitration.

The organizers of the event note the importance of this issue for further development of international commercial arbitration in Ukraine. The international experience shows that effectiveness of arbitration depends on state judges that should provide support and assistance to arbitration as well as exercise control function over it.
