Partners of Antika Law Firm Alexey Kot and Andrey Kuznetsov took part in the III International Judicial Forum “Judicial Reform in Ukraine: European Vector”

On March 19-20, 2015 in Kiev the III International Judicial Forum “Judicial Reform in Ukraine: European Vector” took place. The event was organized by the publishing house Yuridicheskaya Praktika, the Supreme Court of Ukraine, Support to Justice Sector Reforms in Ukraine EU Project, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The forum gathered together the international experts who shared their experience in the field of implementing European standards in the judicial system of Finland, Lithuania, Poland and other countries, as well as representatives of the judicial system of Ukraine, people’s deputies, representatives of leading law firms, attorneys’ body, prosecutors’ office and famous scientists.

During the first day of the forum the participants discussed what Ukraine should expect from Association Agreement with the EU, elaborated on the realities and prospects for reforms of the judicial system and related institutions in Ukraine. The program of the second day included the parallel sessions devoted to discussion of topical issues of criminal, administrative, civil and business proceedings as well as issues on international arbitration.

Managing partner of the firm, Member of Justice System Reform Council Alexey Kot spoke on “Multi-vector nature of judicial reform as a key to its effectiveness”.
