From January 1, 2019, almost 90% of GOSTs, which were adopted during the Soviet era, were cancelled. Others will be in force until January 1, 2022. On March 20, participants in the discussion “Current challenges of the FMCG market” held within the framework of the III Legal FMCG & RetailForum spoke about the possible consequences of such a cancellation for FMCG-market participants, as well as about the introduction of new requirements for packaging and labeling.
