On October 28-29, 2010 the II annual IBA conference Mergers and Acquisitions in Russia and CIS took place in Moscow. The Corporate and M&A Law Committee of the International Bar Association and the European Regional Forum of the International Bar Association along with the Mergers and Acquisitions journal acted as the organizers of the conference.

Representatives of the CIS’ and international law firms, legal consultants on mergers and acquisitions, corporate lawyers and corporate counselors, strategic development advisors, investment bankers and representatives of the relevant government establishments took part in the conference.

Alexey Kot participated in session on Antitrust regulation of transborder M&A transactions in Russia and CIS. Investments into strategic industries and made a presentation on Control over economic concentration. Review of legislation of the CIS countries.
